Avalanche has reported a block finalization stall preventing block acceptance across its primary network. The incident, flagged early this morning, has scrutinized the network’s reliability and sparked a swift response from its development team.
According to the latest updates, the Avalanche network has not seen a new block on its C-Chain for over an hour, a situation confirmed by data from a leading Avalanche blockchain explorer.
This stall marks a rare glitch in the network’s operation, similar to a March brief outage that affected its subnets. Moreover, on February 1, the network experienced a delay in block processing due to an external infrastructure provider issue, though it did not impact the network’s overall performance.

He corrected earlier suggestions, stating that while inscriptions triggered the bug, they did not impact the network’s performance.
